Batıkent Villa Interior Design

A ~600 m² luxury villa in Batıkent, Ankara: a double-height living room, an open kitchen in Calacatta marble, and a holistic interior design shaped by modern classic lines.

A ~600 m² gross-area luxury villa with double-height spaces in Batıkent, Ankara. Kaya + Partners shaped this villa in a modern classic language: a timeless luxury interior where neoclassical wall panelling, Calacatta marble and brushed brass details meet contemporary lines.

A Holistic Living Concept

The villa was designed around an uninterrupted spatial experience that begins in the entrance hall, flows into the double-height living room, and continues on to the open kitchen and dining area. Marble floor borders and continuous lighting lines create visual continuity between the rooms. At the core of our villa interior design approach lies the idea that every space should be read together with its light, acoustics and the rhythm of daily life.

Entrance Hall — A Timeless Welcome

The experience begins in a serene hall defined by geometric border inlays set into the marble floor and classic wainscot panels. Framed artworks and concealed floor lighting set a calm yet confident tone from the very first impression. A brass screen and a decorative console gracefully separate the foyer from the living area.

Double-Height Living Room — The Heart of the Home

The focal point of the villa is the grand living room, which rises through two storeys. Tufted cream Chesterfield sofas, navy velvet armchairs and a marble-clad fireplace come together beneath a sculptural brass chandelier. The mezzanine balustrade and a brass partition screen define the volume without dividing it, keeping the space both airy and intimate.

Dining Room — A Dialogue of Brass and Velvet

The dining area is arranged around a long timber table with chairs upholstered in navy velvet on brass frames. A steel-and-glass partition separates the space from the living room while preserving the visual connection. A recessed plaster cornice ceiling and linear lighting turn the setting for entertaining into a warm focal point.

Open Kitchen — Where Marble Meets Walnut

In the open kitchen, a Calacatta marble waterfall island contrasts with dark walnut and beige lacquered cabinetry. A veined marble backsplash and brass-framed glass display cabinets resolve function without compromising on aesthetics.

Material and Light — Luxury in the Details

The character of the project lies in its material palette: Calacatta and Breccia marble, dark walnut, cream velvet and brushed brass. A three-layer lighting scheme of concealed linear light, spotlights and sculptural chandeliers creates an atmosphere that shifts throughout the day. Herringbone parquet brings warmth to the seating areas.

Modern Classic — A Timeless Signature

By combining classical proportions with contemporary comfort, this luxury villa in Batıkent delivers an interior grounded in timelessness rather than trends. As one of Ankara's leading design studios, Kaya + Partners defines luxury in this villa not through ostentation, but through proportion and detail.
