Bi Pilates Studio is a two-storey wellness and sport project delivered by Kaya + Partners. A minimal language was chosen to spread the sense of openness, calm and focus that pilates as a movement discipline requires to every corner of the space.
Spatial Program
- Studio 1 — Reformer Hall: The main practice area dedicated to 6 reformer machines, with a white-painted brick accent wall, wide mirrored surfaces and natural wood parquet.
- Studio 2 — Group and Individual Practice: A calm concentration zone with "studio 2" typography applied on glass and slate-blue wall surfaces.
- Aerial / Yoga Corner: White aerial yoga hammocks, suspended pilates balls and natural lighting.
- Cardio & Equipment Wall: Integrated storage for pilates balls, kettlebells and TRX bands; given character by black-and-white wall graphics.
- Reception: An open wood counter with a 3D "BP" logo on top; contemporary lattice guest chairs.
- Inner Courtyard — Zen Opening: A bright atrium that vertically links the two floors, with a bonsai tree and natural rock landscape.
- Garden and Terrace: A socialising and breathing area surrounded by capsule hanging chairs, a stone walking path and greenery-textured walls.
Design Approach
The white prismatic mass that starts from the façade gains lightness with the showcase emphasised on the upper floor; inside, the trio of slate-blue, lime-white brick and light wood dominate the palette. Crisp transitions between surfaces are defined with black steel frame details.
Material & Detail
- Painted white brick accent wall (Studio 1)
- Large-format oak laminate parquet
- Slate-blue matte wall paint
- Glass partitions — black aluminium frame
- Surface-mounted cylindrical LED spots and track lighting
- Tarp floor surface (pilates mat area)
Brand Language
The BP monogram of the "Bi Pilates" brand is run as a recurring graphic identity element on the wood panelling behind reception, the white brick column and the glass partitions. The detail where the "studio" typography is applied on glass surfaces at a reverse angle is the signature touch that brings the venue's graphic language to the foreground. Wall applications that describe pilates poses through black-and-white visuals strengthen the venue's sport identity.
