View and Orientation: Placing the Bosphorus Line Into the Plan
In a tower apartment, the first thing that defines a unit's value is the view through the window, so we build the plan around the city and Bosphorus line framed by the glass. In Levent and Zincirlikuyu the skyline and bridge lights, in Maslak the open city panorama along the northern axis, and in Atasehir the Anatolian-side silhouette each call for different orientations. We turn the living and master-bedroom axis toward the most open facade, keep the furniture line at a height that never cuts off the view, and install layered lighting so the evening panorama is not reflected back into the room.
- Living-dining-bedroom axis oriented toward the most open facade
- Low-profile furniture and storage line that never blocks the view
- Layered lighting that prevents reflection on the Bosphorus/skyline night view
- Daytime glare and heat control with window film and motorized shades
- Angle and sightline calculation that capitalizes on dual facades in corner units
