At an Export Fair a Stand Is Meeting Infrastructure
At a retail-facing fair the aim is to show the product to as many people as possible; at an export fair it is to talk to the right person for long enough. That difference changes the entire layout. Meetings run long, often with an interpreter and several people, with samples examined and notes taken at the table. So at Izmir fairs seating capacity and the number of tables matter as much as display area — often more. A stand where conversations happen standing up cannot carry a meeting with a buying delegation.
- Number of meeting tables and seating capacity calculated from the start
- Table sizes suited to interpreters and larger delegations
- A real working surface for examining samples and taking notes
- Relative acoustic comfort and privacy at the meeting corner
- Clear separation of product display from the meeting area
