Bay-View-Driven Planning and Light Management
The most valuable element of an İzmir tower apartment is the line of the bay framed in the window, which is why we build the plan around the view. In our high-rise İzmir residence interior design projects in Bayraklı and Mavişehir, we orient the living, dining, and master-bedroom axis toward the facade where the bay opens up most clearly, and keep the furniture line low enough never to block the view. On İzmir's west-facing bay the late-afternoon sunset spills into the apartment; from the very start we resolve a layered lighting strategy that controls glare by day and opens the light back onto the view in the evening.
- Open-plan living-dining axis oriented toward the bay view
- Low-profile furniture and storage line that never obscures the view
- Glazing and shading scheme that harnesses sunset light on the west facade
- Afternoon glare control through window film, brise-soleil, and drapery
- Natural daylight by day, layered lighting opening onto the bay by night
